Lambayeque is a city of around 58,000 inhabitants in northwestern Peru, serving as the capital of the Lambayeque Region. Situated on the coastal plain not far from the Pacific, it preserves a colonial-era urban core with landmarks such as Casa Montjoy and the Ex Casa Hacienda Yencala Boggiano.
