About Curaçao
Curaçao is an island in the southern Caribbean, roughly 65 kilometres north of the Venezuelan coast, and together with Aruba and Bonaire forms the ABC Islands. A constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, it has a population of around 150,000. Its capital, Willemstad, is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved Dutch colonial waterfront architecture along the Sint Annabaai. The island draws visitors with clear waters, coral reefs, and a multicultural society shaped by Dutch, African, and Latin American influences.
