About Djibouti
Djibouti is a small country on the Horn of Africa, situated at the entrance to the Red Sea along the Gulf of Aden. It borders Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia. The capital city, also called Djibouti, is home to the majority of the country's roughly one million inhabitants. The nation's strategic port serves as a key transit hub for trade between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The interior landscape is characterised by desert plains, salt lakes, and the geologically active Afar Triangle.
