About Dominica
Dominica is an island nation in the eastern Caribbean Sea, situated between the French territories of Guadeloupe to the north and Martinique to the south. Covering around 750 square kilometres, it is part of the Lesser Antilles and is known for its dense rainforest cover, volcanic peaks, and numerous hot springs. The capital city is Roseau, located on the western coast. Dominica remains one of the least densely populated and most ecologically intact islands in the Caribbean, making it a destination particularly suited to nature tourism and hiking.
