About Grenada

Grenada is an island nation in the southern Caribbean, comprising the main island of Grenada and the smaller islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The capital, St. George's, is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque harbour towns in the Caribbean. The country is known as the "Spice Isle" due to its status as one of the world's notable producers of nutmeg. Independent since 1974, Grenada has a population of around 120,000. Tropical rainforests, waterfalls, and coral reefs attract visitors with an interest in nature and diving.
