About Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked country in Central Asia, bordered by Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The Tian Shan mountain range dominates much of its terrain, giving the country a distinctly highland character. The capital, Bishkek, serves as the political and economic center. With a population of around six million, the country is sparsely settled across a largely mountainous landscape. Nomadic traditions remain a significant part of cultural life. Kyrgyzstan is well suited to travelers seeking nature, trekking, and high-altitude wilderness experiences.
