Comoros is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, situated between the northern coast of Mozambique and the northwestern tip of Madagascar. The country comprises three main islands — Grande Comore, Anjouan, and Mohéli — alongside Mayotte, which is administered by France. One of Africa's smallest nations, Comoros has a predominantly Muslim population and an economy centred on the export of ylang-ylang, vanilla, and cloves.
