About Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis is a small island nation in the eastern Caribbean, consisting of two volcanic islands of the Lesser Antilles: Saint Kitts, home to the capital Basseterre, and the smaller island of Nevis. It ranks among the world's smallest countries by both area and population. Tropical rainforest covers much of the interior of both islands. The economy relies primarily on tourism and financial services; sugarcane cultivation, which had shaped the islands for centuries, was formally ended in 2005.
