Aimé Césaire

Aimé-Césaire is an underground station on Paris Métro Line 12, located in Aubervilliers just north of the Paris city boundary in Seine-Saint-Denis. It takes its name from Aimé Césaire (1913–2008), the Martinican poet and politician who co-founded the Négritude literary movement and later served as mayor of Fort-de-France for nearly half a century. The main entrance opens onto Place Henri-Rol-Tanguy. Wheelchair access is available.
