Alberta Highway 3, known as the Crowsnest Highway, is a 324-kilometre provincial road linking the Crowsnest Pass at the British Columbia border to the city of Medicine Hat in the east. Established in 1917, it has since been designated a Core Route within Canada's National Highway System. For travelers it functions primarily as a long-distance connector across the southern Alberta prairies and foothills rather than a destination in its own right.
