Aschberg

The Aschberg rises to 98 metres above sea level as the highest point in the Naturpark Hüttener Berge in Schleswig-Holstein, situated in the small municipality of Ascheffel about 15 kilometres west of Eckernförde. On clear days the view from the summit stretches all the way to the Baltic Sea coast. The hill sits along the Naturparkweg, a long-distance trail that links all five nature parks in Schleswig-Holstein, making it a waypoint on one of the state's most extensive hiking routes rather than just a local attraction. The ascent is short and straightforward, well suited to families and casual walkers.
