Bad Camberg

Bad Camberg is a small spa town of about 14,000 inhabitants in the Hintertaunus hills of Hesse, holding the distinction of being the oldest Kneipp resort in Hesse and the third oldest in Germany. The Kneipp tradition — a 19th-century hydrotherapy and wellness philosophy developed by the Bavarian priest Sebastian Kneipp — shapes the town's character, with wading pools, a Kurpark, and dedicated wellness facilities still in active use. The Kreuzkapelle chapel serves as the town's landmark, set against a backdrop of half-timbered houses in the old town.
