Emsdetten station
Public TransportVictorian Era
Bad Kreuznach station opened on 18 May 1905 and is built as a so-called Keilbahnhof — an uncommon wedge layout in which two lines diverge directly at the station throat: the Nahe Valley Railway toward Saarbrücken and the branch to Gau Algesheim. The station building dates from the Wilhelmine era and is classified as a category-3 station in the DB network. Today it serves primarily as a regional interchange node within the Rhein-Nahe transport association (RNN).
