Legnica

Legnica station is the central passenger railway hub of the Lower Silesian city of Legnica (historically Liegnitz) in southwestern Poland. Its station building is a noteworthy example of expressionist architecture, typical of early 20th-century German rail infrastructure in the region. The station sits on the historic Berlin–Breslau main line and serves as a junction for several regional routes into Lower Silesia. For travellers today it functions primarily as an interchange between long-distance services toward Wrocław and local connections across the surrounding area.
