St. Thomas Mount railway station

St. Thomas Mount railway station is a transit interchange in southern Chennai, connecting the suburban rail network with Chennai Metro. It sits about 1.2 kilometres from St. Thomas Mount hill, one of India's oldest Christian pilgrimage sites, though the station itself has no tourist facilities. An additional link to the Chennai Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) is under development. The station functions primarily as a commuter node serving the city's southern districts.
