Bisenzio

The Bisenzio is a 47-kilometer river in Tuscany that flows south through the province of Prato and the metropolitan area of Florence before joining the Arno at Signa. One of the Arno's main left-bank tributaries, it passes through a quiet agricultural and light-industrial corridor largely off the beaten tourist path. Its banks offer a low-key escape for walking and cycling away from the region's more frequented sights.
