In 2009 Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl transformed a straight concrete channel back into a meandering river - part of Singapore ABC programme for active stormwater management. Across 62 hectares, kingfishers and residents, water playgrounds and drinking-water reservoirs meet. One of the world most influential urban river restoration projects.
