Botanical Garden of the University of Regensburg

The Botanical Garden of the University of Regensburg occupies 4.5 hectares on the Biopark campus, west of the university's botany department, and has been developed since 1977. Plant collections are maintained primarily for teaching and research, with greenhouse sections covering different climate zones. Admission is free; the garden is open April through September on weekdays from 7 a.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with significantly reduced hours in winter.
