Modern titular church in southwestern Rome dedicated to Saint Timothy

The church of San Timoteo a Casal Palocco was consecrated in 1968 and dedicated to Saint Timothy, the recipient of two of Saint Paul's letters in the New Testament. It is located in the Casal Palocco neighbourhood, part of the Municipio Ostia in southwestern Rome. As a titular church it holds a special standing in Catholic canon law. The building reflects the post-war suburban architecture of Rome's expanding outskirts.
