Hoekemolen

The Hoekemolen is an 1840 windmill in the small border village of Sint Anna ter Muiden in the Dutch province of Zeeland, close to the Belgian town of Damme. Listed as a protected heritage monument, it represents the long milling tradition of this flat coastal polder landscape. Documented among the regional mill monuments of the Damme area, it offers a quiet, rural glimpse of 19th-century Dutch vernacular culture with little commercial development around it.
