Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise in Tokyo Disneyland's Adventureland is a ten-minute river boat ride through animatronic jungle scenes along the Amazon, Nile, Congo and Mekong. The original opened at Walt Disney's Anaheim park in 1955 as one of its founding attractions; the Tokyo version followed in 1983 when the park opened. In 2014 it was rebranded "Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions", adding night-time voyages and a refreshed temple finale. The hallmark is the wisecracking skipper firing off rapid puns in Japanese. Queues are notoriously long, but the deadpan captain has a devoted following.
