Disneyland Park

Disneyland Park in Marne-la-Vallee, about 30 kilometres east of Paris, is the first of the two theme parks at the Disneyland Paris Resort and the most visited amusement park in Europe since opening in 1992. Originally called Euro Disneyland, renamed Disneyland Paris in the 1990s and rebranded as today's Parc Disneyland in 2002, it follows the layout of its US prototype with five themed lands around the pink Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant, deliberately exaggerated in proportion to cope with the changeable Ile-de-France weather. Highlights include the Big Thunder Mountain coaster on an island in the lake, the Phantom Manor dark ride and the nightly drone-and-projection show Disney Dreams.
