Amrumer Straße

Amrumer Straße is an underground U9 station in Berlin's Wedding district, opened on 28 August 1961 — just weeks after the construction of the Berlin Wall began. It sits beneath Luxemburger Straße at the junction with Amrumer and Torfstraße, and is wheelchair accessible. A functional postwar West Berlin station with no distinctive design features, serving primarily as a transit link between Wedding and Mitte.
