Augsburger Straße

Berlin
  • Nachkriegsmoderne

Augsburger Straße station sits beneath the intersection of Nürnberger Straße and Augsburger Straße in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, serving the U3 line since its opening on 8 May 1961. The station is listed as a protected architectural monument, a characteristic example of postwar West Berlin modernism in underground rail design. Accessibility was added late: two lifts at the southern end of the platform were brought into service in December 2022 and September 2023, finally making the station step-free in both directions.
