Belleville

Belleville is an underground interchange station on Paris Métro lines 2 and 11, situated near the border of the 10th and 11th arrondissements in the city's east. With around 30,000 daily passengers as of 2004, it ranks among the network's twenty busiest stops. The station itself is not wheelchair-accessible and has no architectural or cultural distinction of its own. It serves primarily as a gateway to the surrounding Belleville neighbourhood, known for its multicultural street life and café scene.
