Belsize Park

Belsize Park is a deep-level London Underground station on the Northern Line in the London Borough of Camden, opened in 1907. Its surface building is a Grade II-listed example of the Arts and Crafts style, designed by Leslie Green and clad in the distinctive ox-blood red terracotta tiles found across his stations. At roughly 55 metres below street level and with no lifts, it is one of the deeper and less accessible stops on the line. The Royal Free Hospital sits nearby, as does the residential neighbourhood of the same name, known for its Edwardian mansion blocks and affluent village atmosphere.
