Blaschkoallee

Berlin
  • Nachkriegsmoderne
  • Nachkriegszeit
  • U-Bahn-Anschluss

Blaschkoallee is a station on Berlin U-Bahn line U7 in the Britz neighbourhood, opened on 28 September 1963 as part of the first post-1930s south-westward extension of the line. The entrance structures were designed by Berlin architect Werner Düttmann. The platform walls were finished in plain white ceramic tiles and the columns clad in red clinker brick — a restrained postwar modernist palette typical of the era, though the original tiling has since been replaced. The station sits perpendicular to the street it is named after, just south of the Buschkrug park.
