About Amvrosiivka

Amvrosiivka is a city in Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine, situated close to the Russian border and home to around 18,000 residents. The area has long been shaped by coal mining, a legacy commemorated by the "Shpil" monument dedicated to miners who fell during the Second World War. On Mount Yasenova, a paragliding and hang-gliding site draws visitors to the region's elevated terrain. A waterfall nearby offers an additional point of interest within the rolling landscape of the Donets Basin.
