About Beacon

Beacon sits on the eastern bank of the Hudson River in New York State, roughly 90 kilometres north of New York City, with a population of around 14,000. Part of the Hudson Valley, it offers riverside access at spots such as Little Stony Point and Danskammer Point, as well as broader views of the wooded landscape from the Ninham Mountain Fire Tower. The city combines a walkable small-city feel with easy access to nature trails and the wider cultural offerings of the Hudson Valley.
