Buchen (Odenwald) is a small town in the Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with a population of around 18,000. Situated in the forested hills of the Odenwald, the town and its surrounding villages offer a quiet, rural character. Points of interest include the Mariensäule, the Gruftkapelle, and the Buchenberg viewpoint, alongside the historic watchtower known as the Wachturm "Heunenbuckel" and the Eulsberg. The area is well suited to hiking and exploring the gentle landscapes of the northern Odenwald.
