Diez is a small town in the Rhein-Lahn district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, with a population of around 11,400. It sits on the river Lahn near the confluence with the Aar, in the historically rich Lahn valley region. Among its noteworthy buildings are the churches of St. Laurentius and St. Peter, as well as the Cramberger Kirche. Smaller religious and cultural sites include the Kapelle, the Trauerhalle, and the Görgeshäuser Bildstöckchen. The Evangelisches Gemeindehaus Gückingen and the Säckerbrunnen add further points of local interest.
