About Kropyvnytskyi

Kropyvnytskyi is a city in central Ukraine and the administrative centre of Kirovohrad Oblast, home to roughly 220,000 residents. Situated on the Inhul River, the city has undergone several name changes over its history, most recently in 2016 when it was renamed in honour of Ukrainian playwright Marko Kropyvnytskyi.
