About Lachin

Lachin is a small city in southwestern Azerbaijan with a population of around 2,000, situated in a mountainous region close to the Armenian border. It serves as the administrative centre of the Lachin district and lies along the historically significant Lachin corridor. Points of interest in and around the city include the Sero Khandzradzyan Museum, St Nubar Church, and Sb. Martiros Ekexeci, alongside the nearby settlements of Krekan and Portaqar and the elevated terrain of Böyük İşıqlı.
