About Letopolis

Letopolis is a city in Giza Governorate in northern Egypt, situated roughly 30 kilometres northwest of Cairo. With a population of around 430,000, it is one of the more substantial urban centres in the area. The city's streetscape is shaped by several mosques, including the large congregational mosque الجامع الكبير, the Imam al-Bukhari Mosque, and the Al-Wad al-Haqq Mosque. The Bartus railway station connects Letopolis to the wider Egyptian rail network, making it accessible for both residents and travellers passing through.
