About Maipú

Maipú is a department and city in the Argentine province of Mendoza, situated roughly 30 kilometres south-east of the provincial capital. With a population of over 100,000, it is one of the more significant administrative districts in the region. The area is characterised by viticulture and agriculture at the foothills of the Andes. The department includes localities such as Rodeo del Medio, Fray Luis Beltrán, Pedregal, Perdriel, Rodeo de la Cruz, and Parque Chachingo, reflecting the rural character of the surrounding landscape.
