Marina

About Marina

Marina is a small city in Monterey County on California's central coast, home to around 22,000 residents. Situated just north of the city of Monterey along the shores of Monterey Bay, it developed largely around the former Fort Ord military base, which was decommissioned in the early 1990s and has since shaped much of the city's ongoing development. Local green spaces include Cato Phillips Park, Windy Hill Park, and the Locke-Paddom Wetlands Park. The city offers a quiet coastal setting with easy access to the natural and cultural attractions of the broader Monterey Peninsula.
