About Merefa

Merefa is a city in Kharkiv Oblast in northeastern Ukraine, home to roughly 21,000 residents. Situated south of the regional capital Kharkiv, it is a modest industrial town with a compact urban centre. Points of interest include the Church of the Nativity of the Holy Mother of God and the Temple of the Ozerianska Icon of the Mother of God. A monument to fallen soldiers stands as a local memorial. The town's market square, the Chapel of the Non-Handmade Saviour, and the Suputnyk cinema round out everyday public life.
