About Pforzheim

Pforzheim lies at the northern edge of the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg, at the confluence of the rivers Enz, Nagold, and Wurm — a meeting of waters commemorated by the Dreiflüssebrunnen in the city centre. Home to around 129,000 people, it has long been known as a centre of the jewellery and watchmaking industries. The Gedenkstätte zum 23. Februar 1945 marks the city's near-total destruction in World War II.
