About Rossland

Rossland is a small mountain city in southern British Columbia, Canada, nestled in the Selkirk Mountains close to the US border. It developed as a gold-mining centre in the late nineteenth century and retains much of its historic character today. Local landmarks include Rusty the Horse, Jubilee Park, and Nickleplate Park, while the surrounding peaks — among them Mount Roberts, Mount Lepsoe, and O.K. Mountain — alongside spots like Island Rock and Sphere of Influence make it a base for year-round outdoor activity.
