About Spanish Town

Spanish Town is located in the parish of Saint Catherine in southern Jamaica, roughly 20 kilometres west of Kingston. With a population of around 131,000, it is one of the country's largest urban centres and served as Jamaica's capital for several centuries before Kingston assumed that role. The city functions today as an important regional hub. Local points of interest include Wynter's Park, McNeil Park, and several active faith communities such as the Clear Park Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Faith Christian Missionary Church of God.
