Waldenbuch is a small town in the Böblingen district of Baden-Württemberg, situated south of Stuttgart on the edge of the Schönbuch nature park. With a population of around 8,800, it offers a quiet, green setting well suited to walking and exploring the surrounding forests. Points of interest include the Schafgehege, the Franzosendenkmal, and the Orkan-Lothar-Stein, a memorial stone marking the severe storm of 1999. The parish church of St. Meinrad, the Ritter-Sport-Stadion, the Emmabrunnen, the Sühnekreuz, and the Tscherningstein round out the town's local landmarks.
