About Winslow

Winslow sits on the Colorado Plateau in northeastern Arizona at an elevation of roughly 1,490 metres, with a population of around 9,000. The town developed as a railroad hub along the historic Santa Fe Railway and sits close to the alignment of old Route 66. The surrounding high-desert landscape features striking natural formations including West Sunset Mountain, Cockscomb Butte, French Butte, Red Hill, and the Little Painted Desert Country Park. Sacred Heart Park offers green space within the town itself. Winslow serves as a quiet base for exploring the scenery of the American Southwest.
