Yuxi
Yuxi is a prefecture-level city in Yunnan Province, southern China, situated roughly 90 kilometres south of the provincial capital Kunming, with a population of over two million. The area is one of China's principal tobacco-growing regions and serves as an economic hub for southern Yunnan. Points of interest include the Buddhist temples 双林寺 (Shuanglin Temple), 金莲寺 (Jinlian Temple), 龙吟寺, and Xingmeng Old Temple, as well as the historic structure 大街锁水阁 and the lakeside bridge 湖之桥. The surrounding highland landscape adds to its appeal for visitors.
