Zwönitz is a small town in the Erzgebirgskreis district of Saxony, Germany, with a population of around 11,700. Situated in the western Ore Mountains, it combines quiet natural surroundings with traces of regional craftsmanship. The Technisches Museum Papiermühle Niederzwönitz documents the area's papermaking heritage, while the churches of St. Blasius and Friedenskirche are prominent landmarks in the townscape.
