About Ethiopia
Ethiopia is located in the Horn of Africa and is one of the continent's most populous countries. Much of the landscape is shaped by a vast highland plateau, home to the capital Addis Ababa. It is widely regarded as one of the cradles of humankind and has a recorded history stretching back thousands of years. Notably, it remained largely independent throughout the colonial era. Coffee, which originates here, remains a key export. National parks, ancient historical sites, and remarkable cultural diversity make Ethiopia a destination of considerable depth and variety.
