Myanmar, also known as Burma, is a country in Southeast Asia bordering Thailand, Laos, China, India, and Bangladesh, with coastlines along the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. Naypyidaw has served as the capital since 2006, while Yangon remains the largest city and commercial hub.
