Anti Terrorism Raju Memorial Sculpture

The Anti-Terrorism Raju Memorial Sculpture stands at the central TSC roundabout on the University of Dhaka campus. It commemorates Moin Hossain Raju, a student shot dead in 1992 during a protest against the militarisation of student politics. Sculptor Shaymol Chowdhury and his team installed seven figures on a stepped plinth in 1997, arms raised in protest. The plaza is now a gathering point for political rallies and a central symbol of Dhaka's student movement. Anyone walking through campus will pass it almost by default.
