The 1753 House is a small log cabin in Field Park at the western edge of Williamstown, Massachusetts, commemorating the region's mid-18th-century colonial settlers. It sits at the western terminus of the Mohawk Trail — originally a Native American trade and war path, today a scenic state highway (Massachusetts Route 2) popular with leaf-peeping road-trippers. The structure itself is a modest outdoor memorial rather than a museum: a roadside landmark at the junction of U.S. Route 7 and Route 2 with no interior access or interpretive exhibits on site.
