Aeroport

Aeroport is an underground station on Moscow Metro's Zamoskvoretskaya Line, opened in 1938 as part of the early expansion of the Soviet Union's flagship rapid transit network. Its name references the now-defunct Khodynka airfield that once stood nearby, long before the city's major airports were established elsewhere. Architecturally modest by Moscow Metro standards — lacking the palatial mosaics of showpiece stations — it represents the more utilitarian strand of late-1930s Stalinist design. Two exits serve the Aeroport district in Moscow's Northern Administrative Okrug. The station operates daily from 05:20 to 01:00 and offers Wi-Fi, though it has no wheelchair access.
