Cayenne – Félix Eboué Airport

Félix Éboué International Airport is the sole international airport of French Guiana, located about 16 kilometers southwest of the capital Cayenne. It is named after Félix Éboué, the Guiana-born colonial administrator who, during World War II, was the first governor of a French overseas territory to rally behind de Gaulle and the Free French. The airport functions as the primary — and largely only — gateway for international flights, mostly connecting to Paris, into this remote French overseas department.
